Part two of our assisted reproduction techniques video shows GIFT and ZIFT. ZIFT (zygote intrafallopian transfer) is a procedure where the zygote is placed into the fallopian tube using laparoscopy. GIFT (gamete intrafallopian transfer) is a procedure where eggs are removed from a woman's ovaries and placed in one of her fallopian tubes, along with sperm.
