Dr. Park spent the first 10 years of her career as a fertility physician at Columbia University in New York City, considered to be one of the leading IVF programs in the USA. She joined the San Diego Fertility Center in 2012 where she combines her extensive experience as an infertility physician with personal care. In 2017 and 2019, Dr. Park was named "Top Doctor" by the San Diego County Medical Society (SDCMS) in San Diego Magazine.

Dr. Susanna Jung-A Park is a fertility doctor double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. After attending the competitive Bronx High School of Science in New York City, Dr. Park graduated summa cum laude from Siena College. She obtained her medical degree at Albany Medical College. Dr. Park completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

During her training, Dr. Park performed extensive basic science and clinical research in the mid-cycle gonadotropin surge and the neuroendocrine alterations in perimenopausal women. Dr. Park was awarded the Resident Research Award by her residency program for three consecutive years, received the Resident Research Award by the New York Obstetrical Society, and was recognized with the Organon Resident Research Award for Outstanding Research in Women's Health. Dr. Park was the recipient of five years of grant funding by ACOG/Solvay Pharmaceuticals Research Award in Menopause and Pfizer/Society for Women's Health Research Scholars Grant for her research, the results of which she presented at various research meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. Upon completion of her training in 2004, Dr. Park was invited to remain as Assistant Professor, whereupon she had the opportunity to translate her basic science and clinical research findings into improved patient care.

In 2007, Dr. Park became an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University. The high volume of patients seeking fertility care led Dr. Park to specialize in intrauterine insemination, In-Vitro Fertilization, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic corrective surgeries, oocyte donation, and gestational surrogacy. Dr. Park is active in the medical community, as a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and a member of Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Park immigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the age of one. After six years in Argentina, she and her family relocated to New York City. As a result of her upbringing, Dr. Park is able to care for patients in English, Korean, and Spanish.

Dr. Park’s passion is to combine her extensive clinical experience as an infertility physician with individualized care and compassion. Dr. Park works closely with the LBGTQ community to build their families. Dr. Park has developed a large referral practice in San Diego, as well as the continental USA and internationally, due to her excellent patient rapport and high success rates with a variety of treatments including IVF, donor eggs, egg freezing and gestational surrogacy.

Dr. Park enjoys reading great books, running, salsa dancing, and vegetarian cooking.
