Cutting-Edge Research

Clinical Trials at San Diego Fertility Center

Recent advances in the treatment of infertility have been almost a daily news story. The San Diego Fertility Center Research Department began in 1995, and takes an active role in conducting clinical trials to be on the cutting edge of tomorrow’s standard procedures.

Working with various pharmaceutical companies, the primary focus in our studies is female infertility using In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) techniques. Studies on Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), IVF, IUI, male infertility, and new medications to stimulate the ovaries have been the major emphasis of our research efforts.

Qualified patients may be able to participate. If you are interested in learning more about our current studies, please email Tammi Massaglia, MSN, MPH, RN in our research department. Please include a brief description of your infertility history and what type of study you are seeking to help evaluate what clinical trial may be available to you.
