Bill Venier

Bill Venier has over 20 years experience in embryology, andrology, and state-of-the-art IVF lab techniques. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Reproductive Biology from Imperial College, University of London and is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis as an Embryology Laboratory Director, ELD (ABB). Bill has trained with some of the top industry professionals in the clinical IVF field in the U.S., U.K., and Australia.

Shannon Kokjohn

Shannon Kokjohn became interested in IVF during high school, and since then has been working towards a career in infertility. She holds her Bachelors Degree from the University of California, San Diego in General Biology with an emphasis in Human Reproduction. She then earned her Embryology and Andrology Masters Degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Shannon joined San Diego Fertility Center in 2002 after working in a research lab.

Jennifer Kettel

Jennifer Kettel entered the field of Andrology and Embryology in 2004 when she joined the SDFC team. Since then, she has gained thorough experience and training in advanced IVF techniques. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Biolgical Sciences from Southern Methodist University.

Andrea Bird

Andrea Bird passion for embryology began in college while attending courses in Developmental Biology and Genetics. After receiving her Bachelors degree in Biology from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI she began her career in embryology in 1992. Andrea was trained at a state-of-the-art facility in Massachusetts. Upon relocating to California, she facilitated the addition of a micro-manipulation laboratory at a local clinic. She also has experience as a trainer of junior embryologists and formulation of micro-manipulation tools at a manufacturing facility here in San Diego. Andrea joined the SDFC team in 2009.
