Our IVF Laboratory
The San Diego Fertility Center embryology laboratory is nationally accredited by the college of American Pathologists (CAP), certifying that the lab is one of an exclusive group of reproductive labs in the U.S. that meet the highest standards of excellence as recognized by its peers. It is directed by our certified Embryology Laboratory Director, William Venier. M.S.C.
The San Diego Fertility Center's IVF laboratory program includes services in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). It includes IVF techniques such as oocyte/ embryo culture, insemination including ICSI, blastocyst culture & transfer, embryo cryopreservation and laser assisted hatching among other IVF techniques. Our IVF lab was the first in San Diego County to offer Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).

This accreditation indicates that the laboratory meets the highest standards of excellence. The accreditation program examines all aspects of quality assurance including methodology, reagents, control of medical equipment, specimen handling, procedural manuals, reports and proficiency testing, personnel, safety, and the overall management principles that distinguish a quality laboratory.

Our Andrology Lab
Our fully accredited CLIA lab performs a wide range of diagnostic tests of male infertility, such as semen analysis (SA) tests. We are proud to provide within a short turnaround critical test results for the patients' treatment. Our andrology lab technologists have extensive experience to assist you with all your andrology and endocrine lab service needs.
